Megan Schmitt

Once a retail manager from 19 to 30 years old, she made a huge life change and began cosmetology school. Taking on full time school and work, she made her dreams of being a part of a salon family a reality. Now a stylist of 7 years, with countless hours of education and travel under her belt, she found a new leap of faith to take. Salon owner!

She continues to take on all types of projects behind the chair. From first time cuts, color to milestones, she loves it all. Her clients leaving her chair feeling better than when they crossed the threshold of the salon is always her highest priority.

With over 13 years of experience in the beauty industry, Megan has built her career around helping others feel confident, supported, and cared for. As a licensed esthetician, she spent many years working closely with clients and forming meaningful, lasting relationships through her work.

She is proud to be part of the beginning of Nest Collective Salon and is excited to help foster a welcoming space centered on community and connection.

Outside of the salon, Megan’s life is rooted in family and faith, which guide her values and the way she shows up for others every day.

Sydney

Reservationist

Sydney has been part of our salon community since the very beginning. Stepping into this new role feels especially meaningful, and she’s so excited to grow with the team and be part of what’s ahead. Before joining the salon, she spent time working in the healthcare world, but has since found her place in the self-care space—where she loves helping people slow down, feel good, and take a little time for themselves. Outside of the salon, Sydney is passionate about her faith and the simple, meaningful parts of everyday life. She loves slow mornings, long walks and bike rides along the canal with her husband, and making memories on annual family trips to the Outer Banks. Lately, she’s been getting into sourdough baking...so stay tuned. Her guilty pleasure? Fully embracing a cozy night in with dinner on the couch, game on, cheering for the Buffalo Bills or Buffalo Sabres and cracking open a cold Olipop to top it off.

Lindsay Antonetty

Master Stylist

Lindsay has been behind the chair for 17 years. Through a mis of experience, honesty and a real understanding of what works for her clients in everyday life, she has built a loyal clientele. She loves corrective haircuts and helping clients feel like themselves again. She trained at the Goldwell KMS Academy in Manhattan and has attended countless beauty shows and advanced education classes over the years, learning from a variety of industry leaders.

Behind the chair, she’s known for being down to earth, straightforward and easy to talk to. As a mom of two, she understands that great hair has to actually fit your life, not just look good when you leave the salon.

Brittany Pieters

Master Stylist

From a young age, Brittany always had an interest in hair and beauty. She has always loved playing a part in helping people feel beautiful. She went to cosmetology school in 2017 and acquired her license shortly after that.

She is now a Master stylist and loves continuing to learn through education to perfect her craft and learn new techniques. She has attended several educational classes all over the country. Brittany especially loves blonding, balayage, creative colors, and anything melty and blendy. To Brittany, being a hairstylist is not just a job. It’s a an outlet for creative freedom while doing what she loves.

Outside of work, Brittany loves spending time with her daughter, Kinsley, and taking her on adventures. She also loves reading, exercising and spending time outside.

Lauren Avery

Senior Stylist

Lauren has been infatuated with all things beauty since the young age of 11. This passion lead her to enroll at EMCC, where she studied cosmetology for two years.

She has now been behind the chair for almost 7 years! Lauren excels with long layered cuts, creative color, blonding, and most recently, extensions. She is fully certified in Sew-Ins, Fusion K-Tips, Tape-Ins, and Clip-In extension methods.

Her enthusiasm is contagious and she has a strong passion of making people feel beautiful!

Bekah Roberti

Senior Stylist

Through years of experience, Bekah has found a love for not only hair but collaboration. She values her client’s time and strives to make every appointment feel relaxed and personalized but also efficient. She loves working with her clients to bring their visions to life so they feel confident, refreshed and like the best versions of themselves. Bekah is drawn to lived in color and long layered haircuts that grow out beautifully and fit seamlessly into her client’s lifestyles.

When not at the salon, you can find her spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors. Especially in the summer time.

Mia Iuli

Level 1 Stylist

Born and raised in St Louis, MO, Mia found a love of all things hair. She trained as Salon Professional Academy in STL and soon after graduating, she found herself working as an associate in a large scale salon.

She met her now husband and they moved to New York where Mia found our collective and has only blossomed from there. She enjoys any kind of foiling work and gives a fantastically smooth blowout. She also loves to focus on her social media presence and loves to create content.

In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, spending time at the lake, trying new restaurants and cocktail spots. She also travels back to STL as much as she can for well deserved family time.

Sadie Menges

Level 1 Stylist/Level 1 Esthetician

After taking a leap of faith and attending beauty school, Sadie found not only a career but a place where she can grow and continue learning each day. She always ensures that her clients are her top priority. Not only with their hair and esthetics services, but through a genuine love of getting to know them as people and helping them feel more confident and beautiful in their everyday lives.

Outside of the salon, she enjoys spending time with her family, her husband, their corgi Benji. She also has a love for travel and going to the gym.

Emma Pettit

Level 1 Esthetician

Emma found a passion for beauty at the age of 14 when she fell in love with makeup. She discovered the world of esthetics and it was over. She graduated from Empire Beauty School in 2021 and became a licensed NYS cosmetologist. Since then, she continues to grow through advanced classes and trade shows to stay up to date on the latest in beauty. She specializes in brow shaping, laminations and lash extensions. All of her clients feel more confident, beautiful and like themselves every time they leave her room.

When not in the salon, she enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family and hanging out with her fur babies, Stitch and Peachy.
